We had 550 visitors to last night's livestream on TikTok, with many more listening on Discord. Heath was amazing and really gave us a lesson in how voice actors work. One minute he's cracking jokes, the next minute he's saying in his rich and authoritative voice, "Watcher drew Loss. He would not lose this fight."

Welcome to the New Site

As JVJ.com has been online for over 30 years, we felt it was just about ready for a refresh! You can read a little more about it in the new journal. Needless to say, I really hope you enjoy your visit.

I completed the final draft of Endlords in September. It’s the best book in the Sword of Shadows series and I’m extremely proud of it. The sixth and final book will be titled A Sword Named Loss. I’ve already started work on it. The on-going process of bringing Endlords to publication is continuing and the book will soon be in your hands. Keep checking back for more information.

To ‘warm up’ before writing Endlords I wrote a 100,000 word novel named Sorry Jones, in a genre I like to call Modern Epic Fantasy. One of these days I’ll see about getting it published.
