I’m a New York Times and USA Today bestselling writer who has sold over a million books. I had some difficult years when I lost my mum, my longterm relationship broke down and I dealt with a serious health problem. I found it nearly impossible to keep writing. I had to earn a living. At one point I was working three jobs: dog sitting, freelance writing and remote-assisting a dude running a startup dating site. When finally in a position where I could work on Endlords full-time, I got the manuscript finished in under a year.
My job now is to get the book to you as soon as possible.

I can identify the exact moment my fate as a writer was sealed. I was 10 years old, in primary school, Monday morning, taking a twice yearly test. It was an everything-but-the-kitchen-sink kind of test: math, geography, science, English.
I have no photographic proof of nearly meeting the Queen so you’ll have to take my word for it. Here goes. Decades ago in the sweltering heat of August, I waited in a temporary gated enclosure in the center of the city of Liverpool to meet the Queen on her tour of the region.
